About the Author

Autor

Hans Reinhard has lived in Quintana Roo for over 35 years. He is a master of capturing majestic and sublime landscapes, elevating each image through his distinctive style and masterful use of natural light.
Inspired by the great Romantic landscape painters—such as Caspar David Friedrich and José María Velasco—his work challenges conventions, drawing a direct line to the timeless tradition of classical landscape art.
His photographs have been featured in renowned national and international exhibitions and competitions. In 2010, he was selected from over 28,000 photographers worldwide to exhibit at the Bicentennial celebration of Mexico’s Independence at the iconic Palacio de la Cultura in Mexico City. That same year, he published his book Riviera Maya, which won the National Graphic Arts Award in 2012.
Hans Reinhard has received numerous international accolades in professional fine art photography competitions, including the Fine Art Photography Awards (London), the Epson International Pano Awards, the Tokyo International Photo Awards, and the Moscow International Photo Awards, among others.
His artistic vision goes beyond documentation—he captures each scene with the soul of a painter, creating images that transcend the visual and stir deep emotion in the viewer.
